Did you know a monochromatic look, whether in light colors or not, shapes your figure and helps you look slimmer? With this outfit in light grays and silver we wanted something different and fun. Mixing and playing up with contrasting patterns, metallics and textures like black & gold accessories, leather, tweed, ikat and fuchsia we got what we were looking for.
In this look we dared to break the rules by using gold with silver at the same time, if you look carefully the knitted sweater is light silver. We believe the key to look good and get an A+ with this combination is that both metallic tones do not compete but rather, complement each other enhancing the whole look. Do you dare too?
¿Sabías que un look monocromático, así sea en colores claros, estiliza la figura? Sin embargo, queríamos algo diferente y cero aburrido; por lo que para éste en tonos gris claro y plateado quisimos buscar contraste. Mezclando estampados, tejidos, texturas y colores y utilizando accesorios en negro y dorado, fucsia con cuadros ikat a blanco y negro logramos lo que queríamos.
Con este outfit nos atrevimos a romper mitos usando dorado con plateado al mismo tiempo; si se fijan bien el sweater es plateado. Creemos que la clave para que se vea bien está en que no compitan ambos tonos metálicos sino por el contrario, en que se complementen mutuamente y realcen el look. ¿Te atreves tu también?
