Recibir el verano en la gran manzana, de la mano de COACH, no podría ser mejor. Hace una semanas fuimos invitadas a celebrar junto a esta marca americana su Anual Summer Highline Party entre flores y follaje, una encantadora tarde de música, diversión, mucho color y lo mejor de su nueva colección, firmada por el talentosísimo Stuart Vevers; que desde el 2013 sella con su creatividad las nuevas propuestas de la marca y a la vez, lidera el nuevo camino que ésta recorre.
No sólo aprovechamos para pasarla rico y disfrutar cada instante de esta ciudad, pues también pudimos conocer y aprender de primera mano como es el proceso de diseño, recorrer el taller en donde se les da vida a las carteras, billeteras, llaveros y demás accesorios en cuero: cada proceso, cada máquina, cada paso y como de uno en uno, las creaciones van tomando forma y vida. Además, pudimos visitar el “archivo”, o lo que podríamos llamar “la biblioteca” de la marca, con una exhibición muy interesante que incluye sus primeras piezas , tanto masculinas como femeninas, y como han ido evolucionado con el paso del tiempo. Para terminar, conocer el nuevo look de la marca, que sella un vez más el nuevo aire que ha llegado para quedarse. ¡Esperamos que les guste!
Welcome summer in the Big Apple with COACH couldn’t be better. A few weeks ago we had the chance to celebrate with this american brand their Summer Anual Party on The Highline among flowers, an enchanted afternoon full of music, fun, color and their Fall collection, signed by their talented desginer Stuart Vevers, that since 2013 has been sealing with his creativity their proposals while taking the brand to a new level that for us can be described as a new road with a fresh air full of youth and style.
We not only took the opportunity to have a great time while enjoying every moment of this city, because we could also meet and learn firsthand the design process, tour the workshop where they are given life purses, wallets, key rings and other leather accessories: each process, each machine, each step, one by one, while the creations take shape and life. In addition, we visited the “archive” or what we might call “the library” brand, with a very interesting exhibition that includes their first pieces, both male and female, and how they have evolved over time. Finally, get to know the new look of the brand, which seals the new air that has come to stay. Hope you like it!
Un nuevo día empezó con un desayuno delicioso en el hotel. The Standard Grill, fue nuestro lugar preferido para llenarnos de energía para el día que teníamos por delante. Luego, estuvimos de vista en las oficinas de la marca, conociendo el taller en donde se le da vida a todas las piezas de marroquinería. En la tarde, almorzamos delicioso y estuvimos conociendo la nueva cara de COACH con su flagship store en Time Warner Center, en Columbus Circle. Nos encantó. Un cambio con un nuevo aire, un giro de 180º a esta marca americana que la llena de vida y de frescura.
The new day started with a delicious breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant The Standard Grill. Then, we went to COACH offices where we knew their atelier in which each piece is given life and their “archive”. In the afternoon, we had lunch at LANDMARK and then, we meet the new store at Time Warner Center, in Columbus Circle. We loved it. A change with a new air, a 180º twist for this american brand that adds freshness, youth and life.
Disney X Coach, ¡una colección que se robó nuestro corazón! Nuestros favoritos: las billeteras con las caras de Mikey, las mochilas y las carteras con orejitas. Nos encanta ver como un personaje querido por todos puede acompañarnos en el día a día de una manera divertida y diferente.
Disney X Coach: their new collection that stole our hearts! Our favorites are the wallets with Mickey Mouse crazy faces, the backpacks and the handbags with mouse ears. We love to see how a beloved character can be part or our day to day in a different and fun way.
El día de la fiesta llegó y nosotras felices con esta nueva experiencia. #CoachXHighLine logró transformar este lugar emblemático puente de Manhattan en un jardín encantado lleno de todos los tonos de verde, que contrastaban de una manera casi mágica con el skyline de la gran manzana. La estrella de la noche fue al actriz Chloe Grace Moretz vestida de Coach Pre-Spring’ 17. Un picnic al estilo New York, juegos, música con Ross One y Sam French, un atardecer increíble, coronas de flores con un toque vintage para las mujeres, un photobooth interactivo y modelos entre los invitados mostrando lo que será la nueva colección de Otoño hicieron que la pasáramos increíble y que fuera una noche para no olvidar.
The day of the party had arrived and we were more than happy with this experience. #CoachXHighLine transformed this iconic Manhattan bridge into an enchanted garden full of greens that contrasted in a unique way with the magical skyline. Chloe Grace Moretz was the star of the night wearing Pre-Spring ’17. A picnic with a new yorker style, games, fun, music byRoss One y Sam French, a magnificent sparkly orange sunset, vintage flower crowns and models wearing their Fall ’16 collection, made all together of this evening into a special one.
Luego de la fiesta y una noche descansada con la mejor vista de NY en la ventana del hotel, otro delicioso desayuno nos esperaba. Era momento de disfrutar al máximo cada instante que nos quedaba en esta ciudad. Por eso, no dudamos un segundo en exprimir al máximo este último día del viaje mientras caminamos por Soho y El Village.
A new day awaits for us in the Big Apple. It was time to enjoy what we have left while visiting Soho, and walking throght the Village, two of our favorite spots on the big town.
