Tie-Dye. El acabado lleno de textura, color y energía fue nuestro escogido para ser el protagonista de éste look de verano. Se logra amarrando la tela y usando tintes, para luego desamarrar o cortar los cauchos y… voilà! Ahí está. Es mágico y nunca repetido. Se caracteriza por tener colores brillantes, primarios y muy saturados.
¿Sabías que el Tie-Dye se utilizó en Perú en los tiempos precolombinos, además de ser una práctica comúnmente usada en Japón e Indonesia, a partir del sigo VIII, para teñir y darle acabados a las telas? Esta técnica también fue vista en algunas comunidades de África y más adelante en los años 60´s se volvió a ver con todo el movimiento hippie.

Tie-Dye. The full of texture, color and energy finish, was our chosen to be the star of this summer look. This effect is accomplished by tying the fabric and using dyes and then, untie or cut the rubbers and … voilà! There it is. It is magical and never have a same pattern repeated. It’s characterized by bright, highly saturated and primary colors.
Did you know the Tie-Dye was used in Peru during pre-columbian times; besides being commonly used practice in Japan and Indonesia, from still VIII century, for dyeing and adding extra finish to the fabrics? The technique was also seen in some communities in Africa and later in the 60’s became very popular with the hippie movement.
