Our Style: An Eclectic Mix, and Yours?

Cuando queremos ir a la moda, adaptando las últimas tendencias que se dan temporada tras temporada, no solo es importante conocer cuales son cada una de éstas sino también como es nuestra personalidad o nuestro estilo de moda y así, poder llevarlas de la mejor manera y de la forma más acertada. Es decir, poder interpretarlas y adaptarlas a cada una de nosotras para no parecer nunca disfrazadas o víctimas de la moda y estar cómodas con lo que sea que llevas puesto.

Como se han podido dar cuenta al vestir nos dejamos llevar por el clima, el lugar en donde estamos, qué haremos ese día y nuestro estado de ánimo. Un día somos nos inspiramos en el rock ‘n’ roll con chaquetas de cuero y taches, creando looks en donde predominan el negro, el blanco y el gris; mientras que en otros casos, como el outfit de hoy, nos dejamos llevar por el lado bohemio y dejamos que las notas hippies y románticas, los bordados y los flecos sean los que definan nuestro vestimenta para el día.

Hay personas que siempre que las ves son fieles a un estilo propio ya sea clásico, sofisticado, relajado y/o cómodo, creativo, dramático o seductor, por mencionar algunos; pero hay otras, como nosotras, que tenemos prendas y piezas de todos los estilos en nuestro armario por lo que no podemos definirnos por uno solo, es más ecléctico. La verdad nosotras definimos nuestro estilo cada día con lo que éste trae. Y, ¿ a ti que te define, cual es tu estilo? ¡Esperamos que les guste!

In the process of dressing up each morning there are some women like us who love to be trendy and wear each season’s latest trends. But be careful, in this game there are some limits which you can cross easily without knowing and you might become a fashion victim. The clue is to know yourself better than anything or anyone and to recognize your taste, your style, your body shape, your “wardrobe” limits and fashion personality. If you know who you are and how you are you’ll be able to pull off great and unique looks adapting trends to YOU; you’ll be comfortable with whatever you’re wearing.

In our case, we have come to realize each morning we are led to dress up according to the weather, the place where we are, what we will do in the day and our mood. One day we are inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll wearing leather jackets and studs; creating looks with mostly black, gray and black. While in other cases, like today’s outfit we felt bohemian vibes letting our hippie and romantic notes flow. Embroideries, fringes, color contrast and beachy waves sealed the outfit.

There are people who are always true to their own style whether it’s classic, sophisticated, relaxed and/or comfortable, creative, dramatic or seductive, just to name a few; but there are others, like us, who have clothes and pieces of all styles in our closet and we can not define ourselves just by picking up one; ours is a mix, way more eclectic and versatile.
